Good morning, Annapolis. Raise your hand if you had to buy a new lawnmower this week lest the HOA unleash its full wrath upon you 🙋

In today’s Naptown Scoop:

  • Should we have a Navy sports newsletter

  • Easter brunches that aren’t full yet

  • AACo Parks & Rec survey

Let’s get to it.

FOOD & DRINK

Where the good boys and girls are welcome in Annapolis 🦮

Yesterday may have been International Puppy Day . . . but any dog owner knows every day is Puppy Day. And, as patio season returns, many of Annapolis’ restaurants are rolling out the welcome mat for our favorite four-legged guests. No surprise, Annapolis delivers with plenty of restaurants that welcome pups, whether it’s a sunny outdoor table, a beer garden, or even indoor seating at select spots. A few places take it up a notch with special treats just for your furry plus-one.

Whether you’re craving coffee, crabcakes, or a casual happy hour, there’s no need to leave your sidekick at home. We rounded up the best dog-friendly restaurants around town — plus a few quick rules of paw (like remembering leashes and poop bags) to keep things smooth for everyone. Because let’s be honest: everything tastes better when your dog is along for the ride.

SURVEY: Would you read a newsletter all about Navy sports?

We've gotten quite a few emails bemoaning our near full removal of Navy sports from these newsletters. The long and short of it is covering all Navy sports in this newsletter just took up too much space. However, we are curious if there's enough interest to justify a completely separate Naptown Scoop newsletter all about Navy sports.

So if you love Navy sports, please take five minutes to complete this survey so if we do this, we can do it right.
