Where to Find the Easter Bunny (And the Eggs) 🐰

This Easter season, you’re on the hunt—but you want to be on the hunt for the eggs themselves, not the events where the hunts are happening. So, we did that work for you. We went out, hunted, and collected some of the best Easter activities. There are visits with the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, and other festivities. Here’s what we found:

These are events where your kids (either human or animal) can meet the Easter Bunny—and capture the memory with a photo.

Easter Bunny Cove at the Annapolis Mall

Come meet the Easter Bunny at the Annapolis Mall’s Mad Hatter-themed event with kid-friendly crafts and plenty of opportunities for photos. Be sure to register in advance, and check for special pet nights (March 16, 23, and 30) and a sensory-friendly day (March 22).

Photos with the Easter Bunny at Homestead Gardens

Bring your own camera and take advantage of a free photo op with the Easter Bunny in a festive springtime spot at either Homestead location. First come, first served.

Easter Bunny Eggstravaganza at Park Books

Get a photo with the Easter Bunny and take home a copy of the picture book “The Easter Bunny is Coming to Maryland.” There will also be music, coloring pages, and treats. This is a ticketed event, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Good Neighbors Group.

Egg hunts are the main activity, but there’s plenty of other fun at these events—and the Easter Bunny will probably make an appearance at most of them.

Bunny in the Barnyard Egg Hunt and Hayride at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds

This all-day Easter fest includes a visit from the Easter Bunny, hayrides, crafts, face painting, pony rides, and more. Egg hunts will be held at noon, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM. Advance registration required.

Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza at My Gym Crofton

My Gym Crofton is offering two sessions (one for age 3 & under, one for all ages) of this eggs-travaganza. There will be an egg hunt, games, songs, and a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny. Register in advance.

Kinder Farm Park Easter Egg Hunt

Bring your own basket to collect eggs while visiting the farm animals and meeting the Easter Bunny. Hunts are divided by age groups (4 & under, 5 & up) and begin every half hour. Register for a hunt in advance, or check back regularly to see if spots have opened up.

St. John the Evangelist’s Easter Egg Hunt

Organized by the American Heritage Girls Troop MD4205, this Easter celebration begins with games and crafts at 9:30 AM followed by the egg hunt for ages 10 & under at 10 AM. There will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny.

Severna Park Baptist’s Easter Egg Hunt

The focus of this church event is a walk-through with interactive stations to understand Holy Week, but it will also feature crafts, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and an egg hunt.

Weems Creek Church’s Easter Egg Hunt

A great event for families with toddlers, this afternoon will include two timed egg hunts divided by age groups, plus carnival games, a craft station, snacks, bubbles, and more.
