TOGETHER WITH
Good morning, Annapolis. Today I learned Steve Jobs’ daughter is named Eve Jobs. That has to be intentional, right? Still not as crazy as George Foreman naming all five of his sons George Foreman.
In today’s Naptown Scoop:
Wanted: little entrepreneurs
High-end tequila tasting
Annapolis Blues soccer camp
Let’s get to it.

Brad Kappel’s Home of the Week: Elevated Waterfront Living in Epping Forest
Plenty of homes in Annapolis sit on the Severn River. Very few are designed to take full advantage of it.
349 Sherwood Trail in Epping Forest is one of those rare properties where the view drives everything. Walls of glass, angled sightlines, and open living spaces keep the river in focus from nearly every room.
The main level flows easily from kitchen to dining to living, all oriented toward the water. Upstairs, the primary suite opens to a private balcony with wide river views, along with a spa-style bath that feels more boutique hotel than traditional home.
The lower level adds a more relaxed layer with a media room, fireplace, and direct access to a covered flagstone patio.
Outside, a private pier with multiple lifts makes getting on the water simple. And as part of the gated Epping Forest community, owners also have access to a clubhouse, beach, and tennis and pickleball courts just steps away.
There’s also an added bonus that’s increasingly rare in this area: an additional parcel that provides extra parking.
For those paying attention to the Severn River market, this is a standout.

SCOOP ANNOUNCEMENTS
We planned your next night out
Remember in February when we teased two announcements? Our events calendar was the first. Dinner Club is the second. Here’s how it works.
First, you take a personality quiz and tell us your dietary preferences & allergies. We take care of everything else – reservations, 4 or 5 dinner partners based on your personality quiz, even arranging an after-party.
You won’t know where you’re eating until the morning of Dinner Club (we’ll text you). And you won’t know who you’re dining with until you arrive.
During dinner, we’ll text you the location of the after party. And then we’ll ask that you put your phone away. The purpose of Dinner Club is real life connection!
You in? Our inaugural Dinner Club is April 15.
FAQs
Got questions? We have answers.
Who can join?
Anyone 18+ who’s open to meeting new people. We do ask that you be a nice person (or at least pretend at Dinner Club).
How are groups matched?
Our algorithm uses your personality quiz, age range, budget, and preferences to create tables that naturally click.
Can I bring my husband/boyfriend/wife/girlfriend/partner/best friend/emotional support human?
Yep! Just look for the plus one checkbox when booking.
I’m single. I won’t get stuck with a bunch of lovey-dovey couples, will I?
Nope. Our matching algorithm tries its best to avoid making you feel like a third wheel.
How do you pick the restaurants?
We prioritize local ownership & top-rated spots. We’ll also make sure there’s an option for every budget – from folks who eat ramen noodles 6 nights a week to Osteria 177 regulars.
How much does this cost?
Grabbing a seat at Dinner Club is $15.99. You’ll cover your own food & drinks at the restaurant.
What’s the cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to 72 hours before dinner for a full refund. No questions asked.
Still have questions? Reply to this email and we’ll answer as fast as we can (seats are limited!)

EVENTS
Children’s Business Fair Severna Park 👧📈👦
Calling all young hustlers: the Acton Academy Children’s Business Fair is back in Severna Park on April 11. This is a great event and we’re proud to be sponsors.
New digs: The fair has outgrown its original location at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and is moving to Park Plaza Shopping Center. This will allow it to accommodate 70 businesses!
Kids ages 5–16 create a brand, launch a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then sell to real customers in a one-day marketplace. Awards include most original idea, highest potential, and best presentation. Winners get $50 and a certificate.
While it’s just Acton’s 4th event, there are over 4,400 similar fairs in almost 800 cities nationwide. The first was in Austin, TX in 2007 with just 7 young business people.
Parents, help your kiddos get registered. Groups (up to three kids) submit one application. There’s no cost to apply; accepted businesses pay $25 per booth. Check the FAQ before applying.
🛍️ Support young entrepreneurs: Come out April 11 to shop and support these bold children!

Spring Cleaning Tasks for your Money
If you don’t review spending habits regularly, your finances can get messy.
It's around this time of year when we realize that winter has caused us to collect some clutter around the house, and that the windows and carpets could use a good cleaning. These things jump out at us, since it's easy to see a stain on the rug or magazines piled up in a basket.
What we sometimes don't see though, is other clutter that we've built up – specifically, how we manage our money. These messes can start out small enough, but over time and without much oversight, can become much more unruly and costly.
That's why, just like periodic cleaning, it's important to check in with your budget and
investments from time to time, and if necessary get help from a financial professional. To get started on cleaning up your finances this spring, read here are a few areas where you can begin the tidying process.

Dog of the Week: Meet Pearl!
Our girl Pearl is such a gem. A three-year old terrier mix with the personality of your sauciest auntie, Pearl makes every day feel like a Friday. Pearl has been at the SPCA for almost an entire year waiting patiently for the right person (maybe you?).
Maybe you’re an entry-level dog person who still thinks daily walks must be a pain in the rear end; or you’re a recovering cat person who has finally decided that you are deserving of a reciprocal level of affection in your life. Pearl is your girl, we can’t say it loudly enough. This little lovebug is a true joy to be around, with a wiggly butt and a cold nose to remind you every day just how much you mean to her.
Pearlie Girl has been waiting at the SPCA for almost a year, so go find her and bring her home today.
