Calling all breast cancer survivors, patients, and their families and friends! On October 12, Michael Kors at Annapolis Mall is hosting a special shopping event.

A part of everything you buy will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research, treatment, education, and patient resources.

While you shop, Michael Kors is providing champagne, cider, water, and mini sandwiches and sweet treats!

Never know what to buy? Michael Kors has personal stylists available for free at this event to make giving back easy! RSVP here and don’t forget to check the option for a stylist.

If you hate the hassle of paying for parking at a garage downtown, buckle up for some good news. Knighton and Gott’s Court Garages are now using gateless technology so all you have to do is drive in and drive out.

Here’s how it works: When you pull into the garage, a license plate reader records your license plate and starts your parking session. All you have to do is scan the QR code displayed in the garage, enter your info, and go on with your day. No need to worry about gates, tickets, cash, or cards.

The new tech goes into effect on Monday.

The annual Boatyard Beach Bash to benefit the Annapolis Maritime Museum made waves with attendees last weekend by offering the best music lineup to date and attracting a crowd of supporters (including many Parrotheads who were there for the Jimmy Buffett-inspired sounds). The event shored up a net of $170K to support the museum’s educational program. Thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who made it happen! 🦜

JessFest began in 2019, when Jess Stach Beard was diagnosed with Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer. Sadly, Jess passed away in February 2022. Her greatest wish was for her friends and family to host a memorial event supporting women like her fighting the disease. JessFest returns for its third year on Saturday, October 5 at Fairview Farm. There will be music, food trucks, drinks, games, a kids zone, and vendors. The event runs 3–7 PM, with fireworks at 7 PM. Proceeds benefit Respite Retreats, an organization that offers retreats to cancer patients, their caregivers, and families. Get tickets.
