Designed by architect Scott Rand and built by Bayview Builders in 2015, the home captures light and water vistas from nearly every room.
The main level blends elegance with comfort, featuring a spacious living room, gourmet kitchen with a massive island, and a screened porch with fireplace and heaters for year-round enjoyment. Upstairs, all four bedrooms have ensuite baths, while the primary suite impresses with soaring ceilings, a fireplace, and a spa-inspired bath. A secondary main-level suite and office add versatility.

THE DIGEST
Littmann wins Democratic mayoral primary (plus full election results)
All the votes are now in, and the candidates are set for November’s general election. Here are the primary winners. There were no Democratic primaries in wards two, five, seven, and eight because there were no challengers. And there were no Republican primaries in any ward.
After counting mailed and provisional ballots, there was just one lead change – Ward Four – which was by far the tightest race with just a two vote difference after election day favoring Coren Makell and ending with a four vote difference favoring Janice Allsup-Johnson.
The election day unofficial results originally reported that Craig Cussimanio led Diesha Contee 112 votes to 69 due to a transcription error that was discovered during certification. Contee actually lead Cussimanio and the lead held through mailed and provisional ballot counting.
Mayor:
🥇 Jared Littmann - 2,594 votes (67%)
Rhonda Pindell Charles - 1,271 votes (33%)
Ward One:
🥇 Harry Huntley - 481 votes (51%)
Katie McDermott - 293 votes (31%)
Ron Gunzberger - 137 votes (15)
Genevieve Torri - 19 votes (2%)
Ben Bramsen - 12 votes (1%)
Ward Three:
🥇 Keanuú Smith-Brown - 340 votes (82%)
Debbie Odum - 77 votes (18%)
Ward Four:
🥇 Janice Elaine Allsup-Johnson - 144 votes (51%)
Coren Eve Makell - 140 votes (49%)
Ward Six:
🥇Diesha Contee - 185 votes (60%)
Craig Cussimanio - 124 votes (40%)
And here are your choices for the general election on November 4.

Dedicated to the Capital Gazette Five 📰
Seven years have passed since Annapolis lost five members of the Capital Gazette staff in the single deadliest attack on journalists in US history, but their presence remains strong in the memories of many in the community. Now the City of Annapolis, in collaboration with the Caucus of African American Leaders of Anne Arundel County (CAALAAC) and the Maryland Transportation Commission (MTC), are honoring those five victims with a dedication along Rowe Boulevard. Signs saying “Dedicated to the Capital Gazette Five” were formally unveiled with a ceremony earlier this week, paying tribute to Gerald Fischman, Rob Hiaasen, John McNamara, Rebecca Smith, and Wendi Winters.
The victims’ families received miniature versions of the sign, and speakers — including Mayor Gavin Buckley, MTC chairman Justin Towles, and CAALAAC convener Carl Snowden — talked about the contributions the victims made to their community, as well as the importance of the First Amendment and freedom of the press. Dogs of the Week: Panda and Patches
Do you suffer from social anxiety? Find yourself pining for the good old days of lockdown? Do you talk more to yourself than anyone else in your life? Then holy cannoli do we have the pair of dogs for you.
In full transparency, when Panda and Patches showed up on our radar, we emitted a multi-channel Slack scream. Can you say “Smooches-Pooches?” Because these are kissable faces that also want to patrol the perimeter real quick, if that’s cool. Australian Shepherds are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and high energy, but that’s perfect because you have legit 80 podcasts bookmarked and the desk treadmill really is just as sad as your mom says it is. They’ll walk with you, they’ll make sure your neighbors respect boundaries, and they love to spoon so you can get rid of that weighted blanket.
Panda and Patches are very much a yin and yang pair, too, with Panda being very outgoing and Patches being more subtle. Panda will be your kickball team’s mascot, while Patches will sit on the bleachers with you and judge everyone’s coordination.

NAPTOWN SCOOP LOCAL BUSINESS IS POWERED BY. . .
Celebrating 30 years of the best sailing and boating magazines anywhere in the world
It’s fitting that the traditional gift for a 30th anniversary is the pearl: knowing that Mary Ewenson, publisher of SpinSheet, PropTalk, and FishTalk, has dedicated her life’s work to promoting life on the water, a gift from the sea seems only appropriate. Mary started SpinSheet and later PropTalk with another Annapolis sailor, author, and Friend of Naptown Scoop), Dave Gendell, who changed careers in 2007.
Much more than just a monthly magazine, over the last three decades SpinSheet has been responsible for recruiting sailors and boaters to the Chesapeake region, giving local sailing a national focus, and spotlighting the local marine industry. Sister publication PropTalk turns 20 this year (almost ready for a Boat Show beer, but not quite), and has established itself as the deep, resonant voice of the power boating community on the Bay.
Ewenson is also the force behind EWE Spirit, the foundation that honors the life and ethos of her late husband, professional sailor and all-around incredible human Geoff Ewenson. And while we love jewelry, we know the SpinSheet crew well enough to know they’d much prefer we join them for a toast and a cupcake at their boat show booth. Join them at 5 PM on October 3 and 10, both Fridays of the Boat Shows.
L’Antico Gusto leaving Annapolis Mall 🥪
Tomorrow’s the last day to indulge in a premium Italian sandwich or salad from L’Antico Gusto while you’re doing some shopping in the Annapolis Mall. However, it does appear that after two years in the dining court, L’Antico Gusto will reopen somewhere in downtown Annapolis. A spokesperson was unavailable for comment, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear something confirmed. After all, when an eatery has a name that translates to the ancient taste, you know it serves food that endures — and will always be popular, no matter the era.
Wild Game and Whiskey: an Untamed Event
Adventurous eaters, this is totally for you. Davidsonville’s Harvest & Thyme Tavern is bringing a unique night of locally-sourced wild game paired with handpicked whiskeys. The pairings are part of a bold five-course meal that features jumbo sea scallops, Creole-prepared frog legs, wild boar with truffles, venison osso bucco, and a gingerbread cake to finish. Sign yourself up now before space runs out. 6:30 PM on November 10 at Harvest & Thyme in Davidsonville.
And yeah, we know this is a little outside our radius but it’s so cool that we just had to share.

WHAT’S HAPPENIN’
Save the date: the MRE Tug of War 🗓️
Mark your calendar and order the next level of Captains of Crush. The Maritime Republic of Eastport’s annual Tug of War over Spa Creek is set for Nov. 8 at the crack o’ noon. This friendly competition between Eastport and Annapolis dates back to 1997 when the bridge connecting the two communities had to close down for repairs. Eastport saw this as a declaration of war and promptly declared its independence. The tradition continues today with a day of music, food, fun, and — although it’s a little different this year – tug of war.
What’s different? As you might have noticed, City Dock is an $88 million construction zone. Not ideal for a 1,700-feet over-the-water tug of war. But if they are anything, Eastportaricans are resourceful. So everything is happening on Second Street with a shorter rope, fewer tuggers per team, and a coin flip to see who pulls uphill. Bouts are 30 seconds max and decided by a best of three series.
And since there’s no water, the traditional name – Slaughter Across the Water – has been amended to Battle By the Bay.
In all seriousness, this is an iconic, can’t miss Annapolis event. Just remember to bring gloves if you’re tugging and for the love of oyster shooters, no boat shoes. We get it. You live in Annapolis. But traction is everything in tug of war.

NAVY SPORTS
🏈 Navy Football Pre-game Report: Rice, September 27 @ 3:30 PM | Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
Our undefeated Midshipmen are back in town on Saturday. And they’re sitting pretty. The Mids have started 3-0 for the first time since 2019 (more on that team later) and they’re 14.5-point favorites against the Rice Owls.
Navy’s running the ball really well. Like best-in-the-country well. They’re averaging 375 yards per game on the ground. That’s better than any other team right now and ahead of the school-record pace set by the 2019 team. But don’t sleep on Rice.
The Owls are 3-1, their best start in over 20 years. They aren’t #1 in rushing, but they are top 20 with 246 yards per game. And their defense is punishing, ranking in the top 10 for sacks per game.
The weather looks great. Two CMV-22B Ospreys (part plane, part helicopter) are doing the flyover. And a few tickets are still available.
Can’t make it? Watch on CBS Sports, listen on 1430 WNAV, and don’t miss the Anchors Aweigh and Navy Football Podcasts.
Navy athletics fans, rejoice — we’re a little over a week out from the start of fall baseball season and a little over a month away from basketball season. Both schedules came out this week, with the first baseball game taking place against Air Force (home) on Oct. 5, followed by men’s basketball starting against Yale (home) on Nov. 7 and women’s basketball against Delaware (away) on the same day. See the full baseball schedule, men’s basketball schedule, and women’s basketball schedule.
