We know you’re still hesitant about making outdoor plans, but for real this time: the rain is letting up. And lucky us, we live in an area that prioritizes live music and outdoor concerts all summer long! Here are some of our favorite series.
The concept is so simple and brilliant: a local musician performs a concert on a catamaran docked on Back Creek. You show up in your floating vehicle of choice, or hang out on land. The summer lineup is chef’s kiss. Best of all? It’s 🆓
The South River is the gorgeous backdrop for this wildly popular concert series in Edgewater. Musical styles range from bluegrass to soul, old time favorites to today’s hits. BYO Chair. Tickets are $5–15 with kids 12 and under 🆓
It’s the original weeknight concert series in Annapolis, with music lovers packing the Museum’s pier and packing Back Creek with kayaks, paddleboards, and boats of every make and model. Food trucks are on-site if the wait at Davis’ is too long. Pro tip: park outside the Eastport peninsula and walk in. 🆓
On the last Friday of every month, ATC brings in food trucks, vendors, and activities for kids alongside some great regional acts. Bring a blanket and wear shoes you can dance in. 🆓
Historic farm? Check. Chill vibes? Check. Live local music under the trees every other Friday in Cape St. Claire. Bring your own blanket, chair, snacks, drinks — whatever makes you comfy. It's donation-based, so give what you can. 🆓(ish)
Beginning July 19 and running through Labor Day, this concert series brings everyone out. With plenty of room for the kids to run around (and eat sno-cones til their tongues turn blue), this is an all-ages event. The Navy Blues and Gold band kicks off the summer series, but catch Kelly Bell, Swamp Donkey, the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra later in the season. 🆓
This new concert series takes place on the lawn in front of Maryland Hall and brings in some phenomenal musicians. The four-concert series offers soul and three bands gearing up for this fall’s Baygrass Festival. Bring your friends. 4 concerts for $30.
